Why I Created GPS Luxembourgish
Preparing for the Luxembourgish Sproochentest can feel overwhelming. It's tempting to prepare by collecting questions and memorizing answers.
That's how I prepared the first time I took the Sproochentest. I didn't pass.
I had practiced my prepared questions and answers repeatedly. But during the interview, some of the questions and wording were different. I struggled to understand what I was being asked—and knowing my practiced answers wasn't enough.
When I prepared again, I changed my approach.
I practiced a wider range of questions, recorded myself answering unfamiliar questions, and focused on recognizing what a question was asking, answering it directly, and responding when the interviewer followed up.
That approach became the foundation of the GPS Method.
