Practice organizing clear picture descriptions with useful details and a simple structure.
Picture description is an important part of the Sproochentest oral assessment. This interactive workshop helps you approach unfamiliar pictures, organize what you see, and describe scenes clearly in Luxembourgish without relying on memorized scripts.
What You'll Practice
Identifying the setting and main subjects
Describing people, objects, and activities
Using location words to explain where things are
Organizing descriptions with a simple, repeatable structure
Adding relevant details without overcomplicating your answer
Using accessible Luxembourgish vocabulary when you don't know a specific word
How the Session Works
Led by Michelle Rausch, creator of GPS Luxembourgish and a successful Sproochentest candidate, this interactive workshop focuses on building practical picture-description skills for the oral assessment.
A native Luxembourgish speaker supports vocabulary, phrasing, and language feedback during the session.
Participants work with unfamiliar practice pictures through guided exercises, with opportunities to describe scenes aloud and learn from feedback.
Individual speaking opportunities will depend on attendance and available time. Everyone can participate in the guided exercises.
